Chapter: The prohibition of building masajid over graves and placing images therein; and the prohibition of taking graves as masajid

باب النَّهْيِ عَنْ بِنَاءِ الْمَسَاجِدِ عَلَى الْقُبُورِ وَاتِّخَاذِ الصُّوَرِ فِيهَا وَالنَّهْيِ عَنِ اتِّخَاذِ الْقُبُورِ مَسَاجِدَ
Sahih Muslim 528c
'A'isha reported:The wives of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be Upon him) made a mention of the church which they had seen in Abyssinia which was called Marya, and the rest of the hadith is the same.
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی ازواج نے اس گرجا کا تذکرہ کیا جو انہوں نے حبشہ کی سر زمین میں دیکھا تھا جس کو ماریہ کہا جاتا تھا، پھر مذکورہ حدیث بیان کی۔
Hazrat Aisha (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anha) se riwayat hai ke Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) ki azwaj ne is girja ka tazkira kiya jo unhon ne Habsha ki sar zameen mein dekha tha jis ko Mariya kaha jata tha, phir mazkoora hadees bayan ki.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ ذَكَرْنَ أَزْوَاجُ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَنِيسَةً رَأَيْنَهَا بِأَرْضِ الْحَبَشَةِ يُقَالُ لَهَا مَارِيَةُ . بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِهِمْ .
