Chapter: As-Sahw (forgetfulness) in prayer and prostrating to compensate for it

باب السَّهْوِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ وَالسُّجُودِ لَهُ
Sahih Muslim 573e
Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that he offered with the Apostle of Allah ( صلى ہللا عليه و آلهوسلم) the noon prayer and the Apostle of Allah ( صلى ہللا عليه وآله وسلم) gave salutation after two rak'a. A person from Bani Sulaim stood up, and the rest of the Hadith was narrated as mentioned above.
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ میں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ ظہر کی نماز پڑھ رہا تھا، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دو رکعتوں پر سلام پھیر دیا تو سلیم خاندان کا ایک آدمی کھڑا ہوا، آگے مذکورہ بالا حدیث بیان کی۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) se riwayat hai ke main Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) ke saath zuhr ki namaz parh raha tha, Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) ne do rakaton par salam pher diya to Sulaim khandan ka ek aadmi khara hua, aage mazkoora bala hadees bayan ki.
وَحَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ شَيْبَانَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ بَيْنَا أَنَا أُصَلِّي، مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَلاَةَ الظُّهْرِ سَلَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي سُلَيْمٍ . وَاقْتَصَّ الْحَدِيثَ .
