Chapter: It is recommended to recite statements of remembrance after the prayer, and how that is to be done

باب اسْتِحْبَابِ الذِّكْرِ بَعْدَ الصَّلاَةِ وَبَيَان صِفَتِهِ
Sahih Muslim 594e
Abu Zubair al-Makki reported that he had heard Abdullah bin Zubair (رضي الله تعالى عنه) uttering (the words) like that of the Hadith (narrated above) at the end of the prayer after pronouncing salutation. He at the conclusion also said that he was making a mention of that from the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).
حضرت زبیر مکی رحمۃ اللہ علیہ سے روایت ہے کہ اس نے عبداللّٰہ بن زبیر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے سنا، وہ ہر نماز کے بعد، جب سلام پھیرتے تو کلمات تہلیل کہتے تھے، جیسا کہ مذکورہ بالا روایت ہے اور آخر میں کہا وہ یہ بات رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے بیان کرتے تھے۔
Hazrat Zubair Makki (Rahmatullah Alayhi) se riwayat hai ke us ne Abdullah bin Zubair (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhuma) se suna, wo har namaz ke baad, jab salam pherte to kalimaat-e-tehleel kehte thay, jaisa ke mazkoora bala riwayat hai aur aakhir mein kaha wo yeh baat Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) se bayan karte thay.
وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْمُرَادِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، أَنَّ أَبَا الزُّبَيْرِ الْمَكِّيَّ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ فِي إِثْرِ الصَّلاَةِ إِذَا سَلَّمَ . بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِهِمَا وَقَالَ فِي آخِرِهِ وَكَانَ يَذْكُرُ ذَلِكَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم .
