Chapter: It is recommended to recite statements of remembrance after the prayer, and how that is to be done

باب اسْتِحْبَابِ الذِّكْرِ بَعْدَ الصَّلاَةِ وَبَيَان صِفَتِهِ
Sahih Muslim 595b
Abu Huraira narrated it from the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) that they (the poor among the emigrants) said, Apostle of Allah, the possessors of great wealth have obtained the highest ranks and lasting bliss, and the rest of the Hadith is the same as transmitted by Qutaiba on the authority of Laith except that he inserted the words of Abu Salih in the narration of Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالی عنہ) that ‘the poor of the emigrants came back,’ to the end of the Hadith,, but this addition was made that Suhail said (that every part of the supplication, Glorification of Allah, His Praise and declaration of His Greatness) should be uttered eleven times making the total as thirty-three.
سہیل اپنے باپ سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے کہا، اے اللّٰہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! سرمایہ دار، بلند مراتب اور دائمی نعمتیں لے گئے، جیسا کہ قتیبہ کی لیث سے روایت ہے، مگر اس نے ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کی حدیث میں ابو صالح کا یہ قول داخل کر دیا ہے کہ پھر فُقَرَاءُ الْمُھَاجِرِیْن لوٹ کر آئے آخر حدیث تک اور حدیث میں یہ اضافہ کیا، سہیل نےکہا حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ کلمہ گیارہ گیارہ دفعہ اور یہ سب ملا کر مجموعی طور پر تینتیس بار۔
Suhail apne baap se riwayat karte hain ke Hazrat Abu Huraira (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) se riwayat hai ke unhon ne kaha, Aye Allah ke Rasool (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)! sarmayadar, buland maratib aur daimi neimatein le gaye, jaisa ke Qutaiba ki Laith se riwayat hai, magar us ne Abu Huraira (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) ki hadees mein Abu Salih ka yeh qaul dakhil kar diya hai ke phir FUQARA-UL-MUHAJIREEN laut kar aaye aakhir hadees tak aur hadees mein yeh izafa kiya, Suhail ne kaha Hazrat Abu Huraira (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) se riwayat hai ke kalma gyarah gyarah dafa aur yeh sab mila kar majmu'i taur par taintis baar.
وَحَدَّثَنِي أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ بِسْطَامَ الْعَيْشِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ذَهَبَ أَهْلُ الدُّثُورِ بِالدَّرَجَاتِ الْعُلَى وَالنَّعِيمِ الْمُقِيمِ . بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ قُتَيْبَةَ عَنِ اللَّيْثِ إِلاَّ أَنَّهُ أَدْرَجَ فِي حَدِيثِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَوْلَ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ فُقَرَاءُ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ . إِلَى آخِرِ الْحَدِيثِ وَزَادَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ يَقُولُ سُهَيْلٌ إِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ إِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ فَجَمِيعُ ذَلِكَ كُلِّهُ ثَلاَثَةٌ وَثَلاَثُونَ .
