Chapter: It is recommended to pray `Asr early

باب اسْتِحْبَابِ التَّبْكِيرِ بِالْعَصْرِ
Sahih Muslim 625b
This Hadith has been reported by Auza'i with the same chain of transmitters, saying they used to slaughter the camel during the lifetime of the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) after the Asr prayer, but he made no mention of, ‘they used to pray along with him.’
امام صاحب ایک اور استاد سے مذکورہ بالا روایت بیان کرتے ہیں۔ ہاں اتنا فرق ہے کہ اس نے کہا، ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے عہد میں عصر کے بعد اونٹ نحر کرتے تھے۔ یہ نہیں کہا ”ہم نماز میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ ہوتے تھے۔“
Imam Sahab ek aur ustad se mazkoora bala riwayat bayan karte hain. Haan itna farq hai ke us ne kaha, hum Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) ke aehed mein asr ke baad oont nahar karte thay. Yeh nahi kaha ‘hum namaz mein Aap (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) ke saath hote thay.’
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، وَشُعَيْبُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ كُنَّا نَنْحَرُ الْجَزُورَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ . وَلَمْ يَقُلْ كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَهُ .
