Chapter: Stern warning against missing the `Asr prayer

باب التَّغْلِيظِ فِي تَفْوِيتِ صَلاَةِ الْعَصْرِ
Sahih Muslim 627a
'Ali reported:When it was the day (of the Battle) of Ahzab, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: May Allah fill their graves and houses with fire, as they detained us and diverted us from the middle prayer, till the sun set.
حضرت علی رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے غزوہ احزاب کے دن فرمایا اللہ تعالیٰ ان کی قبروں اور گھروں کو آگ سے بھر دے، جس طرح انہوں نے ہمیں درمیانی نماز سے (جنگ میں) مشغول کر کے روکا، حتیٰ کہ سورج غروب ہو گیا۔
Hazrat Ali (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) ne Ghazwa-e-Ahzab ke din farmaya Allah Ta'ala un ki qabron aur gharon ko aag se bhar de, jis tarah unhon ne hamein darmiyani namaz se (jang mein) mashghool kar ke roka, hatta ke sooraj ghuroob ho gaya.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ الأَحْزَابِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَلأَ اللَّهُ قُبُورَهُمْ وَبُيُوتَهُمْ نَارًا كَمَا حَبَسُونَا وَشَغَلُونَا عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ الْوُسْطَى حَتَّى غَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ " .
