Sahih Muslim 651a
Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) found some people absenting from certain prayers and he said, ‘I intend that I order (a) person to lead people in prayer and then go to the persons who do not join the (congregational prayer) and then order their houses to be burnt by the bundles of fuel. If one amongst them were to know that he would find a fat fleshy bone he would attend the night prayer.
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کچھ لوگوں کو کسی نماز میں گم پایا تو فرمایا: میں نے ارادہ کیا کہ کسی آدمی کو لوگوں کی امامت کروانے کا حکم دوں، پھر میں ان لوگوں کی طرف جاؤں جو نماز سے پیچھے رہتے ہیں اور ان کے بارے میں حکم دوں کہ ان کو ان کے گھروں سمیت لکڑیوں کے گٹھوں سے جلا دیا جائے اور ان میں سے کسی کو اگر یقین ہو کہ نماز میں حاضری سے اسے گوشت سے بھرپور ہڈی ملے گی تو وہ اس میں حاضر ہو جائے گا“، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی مراد عشاء کی نماز ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Radiyallahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) ne kuch logon ko kisi namaz mein gum paya toh farmaya: Maine irada kiya ke kisi aadmi ko logon ki imamat karwane ka hukm doon, phir mein un logon ki taraf jaon jo namaz se peechay rehte hain aur unke baare mein hukm doon ke un ko unke gharon samet lakriyon ke gathon se jala diya jaye aur un mein se kisi ko agar yaqeen ho ke namaz mein haziri se usay gosht se bharpoor haddi mile gi toh woh is mein hazir ho jaye ga', Aap (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) ki murad Isha ki namaz hai.
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَدَ نَاسًا فِي بَعْضِ الصَّلَوَاتِ فَقَالَ " لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ رَجُلاً يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ ثُمَّ أُخَالِفَ إِلَى رِجَالٍ يَتَخَلَّفُونَ عَنْهَا فَآمُرَ بِهِمْ فَيُحَرِّقُوا عَلَيْهِمْ بِحُزَمِ الْحَطَبِ بُيُوتَهُمْ وَلَوْ عَلِمَ أَحَدُهُمْ أَنَّهُ يَجِدُ عَظْمًا سَمِينًا لَشَهِدَهَا " . يَعْنِي صَلاَةَ الْعِشَاءِ .
