Mustadrak Al Hakim 3351
It is narrated on the authority of Ubayy bin Ka’b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The seven oft-repeated verses” refer to Surah Fatihah. ** This hadith is sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him), but the two Sheikhs (may Allah have mercy on them) did not narrate it. And I have mentioned the other chains of narration for this hadith in the book “Fada’il al-Qur’an”.
" حضرت ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا :’’ سبع مثانی ‘‘ سورۂ فاتحہ ہے ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔ اور اس حدیث کی دیگر سندیں میں نے کتاب ’’ فضائل القرآن ‘‘ میں ذکر کر دی ہیں ۔"
Hazrat Abi bin Kaab RA se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah SAW ne irshad farmaya ''Sab'a Masani'' sura e Fatiha hai ** Yeh hadees Imam Bukhari rahmatullah alaih aur Imam Muslim rahmatullah alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Sheikhain rahmatullah alaihima ne ise naqal nahi kiya Aur iss hadees ki deegar sanaden maine kitab ''Fazail ul Quran'' mein zikar kardi hain
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الْحَارِثِيُّ، بِالْكُوفَةِ، ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ، مَوْلَى الْحُرَقَةِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «السَّبْعُ الْمَثَانِي فَاتِحَةُ الْكِتَابِ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ الْإِسْنَادِ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ «وَقَدْ أَمْلَيْتُ طُرُقَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فِي كِتَابِ فَضَائِلِ الْقُرْآنِ»
