Mustadrak Al Hakim 4515
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was wounded, I visited him. I said, "O Leader of the Believers! Rejoice in the good news of Paradise for you. You accepted Islam when people were indulged in disbelief. You supported the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) when people sought to humiliate him (God forbid). And when the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) departed from this world, he was pleased with you. And during your caliphate, no two people disagreed, and your assassination itself is martyrdom." Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Repeat what you just said!" I repeated everything. Then he said, "By the Being, besides Whom there is no deity worthy of worship, if every bit of gold and silver on the face of this earth were mine, I would have given it all as ransom to avert the terror of what has been revealed to me."
حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں : جب حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ زخمی تھے تو میں ان کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا ، میں نے کہا : اے امیرالمومنین ! آپ کو جنت کی خوشخبری ہو ، آپ اس وقت اسلام لائے جب لوگ کفر میں مبتلا تھے ، آپ نے اس وقت رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ساتھ تعاون کیا جب لوگ آپ کو ( معاذاللہ ) ذلیل کرنے کے درپے تھے ۔ اور رسول اللہ ﷺ نے جب اس دنیا سے پردہ کیا تو آپ پر راضی تھے ۔ اور آپ کی خلافت میں دو آدمیوں میں بھی اختلاف نہیں ہوا ، اور آپ کا قتل بھی شہادت ہے ۔ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا : یہی باتیں دوبارہ بولو ! میں ساری گفتگو دہرائی ، پھر آپ بولے : اس ذات کی قسم ! جس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں ہے اگر روئے زمین پر موجود ہر سفید اور زرد میری ملکیت میں ہوتا تو میں اس ہیبت پر فدیہ دے دیتا جس کی اطلاع دی گئی ہے ۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas Radi Allaho Anhuma farmate hain : Jab Hazrat Umar Radi Allaho Anhu zakhmi thay to main un ki khidmat main hazir hua, main ne kaha : Aye Amirul Momineen! Aap ko Jannat ki khushkhabri ho, aap us waqt Islam laye jab log kufr main mubtala thay, aap ne us waqt Rasul Allah SallAllaho Alaihi Wasallam ke sath taawun kiya jab log aap ko (Moaz Allah) zaleel karne ke darpe thay. Aur Rasul Allah SallAllaho Alaihi Wasallam ne jab is dunya se parda kiya to aap par razi thay. Aur aap ki khilafat main do admiyon main bhi ikhtilaf nahi hua, aur aap ka qatal bhi shahadat hai. Hazrat Umar Radi Allaho Anhu ne farmaya : Yahi baaten dobara bolo! Main sari guftgu dohrai, phir aap bole : Is Zat ki qasam! Jis ke siwa koi mabood nahi hai agar rue zameen par mojood har safeed aur zard meri milkiyat main hota to main is haibat par fidya deta jis ki ittila di gai hai.
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، الْعَدْلُ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عُمَرَ حِينَ طُعِنَ فَقُلْتُ: أَبْشِرْ بِالْجَنَّةِ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، أَسْلَمْتَ حِينَ كَفَرَ النَّاسُ، وَجَاهَدْتَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ خَذَلَهُ النَّاسُ، وَقُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ عَنْكَ رَاضٍ، وَلَمْ يَخْتَلِفْ فِي خِلَافِتِكَ اثْنَانِ، وَقُتِلْتَ شَهِيدًا، فَقَالَ: «أَعِدْ عَلَيَّ فَأَعَدْتُ عَلَيْهِ» ، فَقَالَ: «وَاللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُهُ، لَوْ أَنَّ لِي مَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مِنْ صَفْرَاءَ وَبَيْضَاءَ لَافْتَدَيْتُ بِهِ مِنْ هَوْلِ الْمَطْلَعِ»
