Mustadrak Al Hakim 4630
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whenever I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) for something, he would certainly grant it to me, and when I remained silent, he would initiate the conversation with me. ** This hadith is sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) but the two Sheikhs (may Allah have mercy on them) did not narrate it.
" حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : میں جب بھی رسول اللہ ﷺ سے کچھ مانگتا ، آپ وہ چیز مجھے ضرور عطا فرما دیتے اور جب میں خاموش رہتا تو آپ مجھ ہی سے آغاز کرتے ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Ali Radi Allaho Anhu Farmaty Hain : Mein Jab Bhi Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam Se Kuch Mangta, Aap Woh Cheez Mujhe Zaroor Ata Farma Dete Aur Jab Mein Khamosh Rehta To Aap Mujh Hi Se Aaghaz Karte. ** Yeh Hadees Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih Aur Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih Ke Miy'aar Ke Mutabiq Sahih Hai Lekin Shaykhayn Rahmatullah Alaihima Ne Isko Naqal Nahi Kiya.
أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ هَانِئٍ، الْعَدْلُ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، ثنا هَوْذَةُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ، ثنا عَوْفٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ هِنْدٍ الْجَمَلِيِّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ: «كُنْتُ إِذَا سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَعْطَانِي، وَإِذَا سَكَتَ ابْتَدَأَنِي» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4630 - على شرط البخاري ومسلم
