Mustadrak Al Hakim 5186
Usman bin Ata narrated from his father that when the plague broke out in an army, Muadh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up in that army and said, "O people! This is the mercy of your Lord, the prayer of your Prophet, and the way of the righteous people before you." Then Muadh (may Allah be pleased with him), while delivering the sermon, prayed, "O Allah! Send the plague of all the people upon the children of Muadh." He was still there when he was informed that his son, Abdur Rahman, had contracted the plague. When his son saw his father, Muadh (may Allah be pleased with him), he said, "O my dear father! This is the truth from my Lord, do not be among those who doubt." (The narrator) said, " Muadh (may Allah be pleased with him) replied, 'You will find me among the patient, Insha'Allah.'" So, within just one week, all the children of Muadh (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away, and he was the last of them to die.
حضرت عثمان بن عطاء اپنے والد کا یہ بیان نقل کرتے ہیں کہ جس لشکر میں وباء پھوٹی تھی حضرت معاذ بن جبل رضی اللہ عنہ اس لشکر میں کھڑے ہوئے اور فرمایا : اے لوگو ! یہ تمہارے رب کی رحمت ہے ، تمہارے نبی کی دعا ہے اور تم سے پہلے نیک لوگوں کی وفات ہے ۔ پھر حضرت معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ نے خطبہ دیتے ہوئے ہی یہ دعا مانگی ’’ اے اللہ ! تمام لوگوں کے حصے کی وباء بھی معاذ کی اولاد پر ڈال دے ۔ ابھی وہ وہیں پر ہی تھے کہ ان کو اطلاع ملی کہ ان کا بیٹا عبدالرحمن طاعون کا شکار ہو چکا ہے ، جب ان کے بیٹے نے اپنے باپ حضرت معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ کو دیکھا تو حضرت عبدالرحمن نے کہا : اے میرے ابا جان ! یہ حق ہے میرے رب کی طرف سے ، تم شک میں پڑنے والوں میں سے نہ ہو جانا ، ( راوی ) کہتے ہیں : حضرت معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ نے جواباً کہا : تو مجھے صبر کرنے والوں میں سے پاؤ گے ان شاء اللہ تعالیٰ ۔ چنانچہ صرف ایک ہی ہفتے میں حضرت معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ کی تمام آل اولاد وفات پا گئی ، یہ سب سے آخر میں فوت ہوئے ۔
Hazrat Usman bin Ata apne walid ka ye bayan naqal karte hain ke jis lashkar mein waba photi thi Hazrat Muaz bin Jabal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) us lashkar mein khade hue aur farmaya: Aye logo! Ye tumhare Rab ki rehmat hai, tumhare Nabi ki dua hai aur tum se pehle nek logon ki wafaat hai. Phir Hazrat Muaz (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne khutba dete hue hi ye dua maangi ''Aye Allah! Tamam logon ke hisse ki waba bhi Muaz ki aulad par daal de. Abhi wo wahin par hi the ke un ko ittila mili ke un ka beta Abdur Rahman taun ka shikar ho chuka hai, jab un ke bete ne apne baap Hazrat Muaz (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko dekha to Hazrat Abdur Rahman ne kaha: Aye mere aba jaan! Ye haq hai mere Rab ki taraf se, tum shak mein padne walon mein se na ho jana, (rawi) kehte hain: Hazrat Muaz (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne jawaban kaha: To mujhe sabar karne walon mein se pao ge Insha Allah Tala. Chunache sirf ek hi hafte mein Hazrat Muaz (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ki tamam aal aulad wafaat pa gai, ye sab se akhir mein faut hue.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، أَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَامَ فِي الْجَيْشِ الَّذِي كَانَ عَلَيْهِ حِينَ وَقَعَ الْوَبَاءُ، فَقَالَ: «يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ هَذِهِ رَحْمَةُ رَبُّكُمْ، وَدَعْوَةُ نَبِيِّكُمْ، وَوَفَاةُ الصَّالِحِينَ قَبْلَكُمْ» ، ثُمَّ قَالَ مُعَاذُ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ: «اللَّهُمَّ أَدْخِلْ عَلَى آلِ مُعَاذٍ نَصِيبَهُمُ الْأَوْفَى مِنْ هَذِهِ الرَّحْمَةِ» فَبَيْنَا هُوَ كَذَلِكَ إِذْ أُتِيَ فَقِيلَ: طُعِنَ ابْنُكَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، فَلَمَّا أَنْ رَأَى أَبَاهُ مُعَاذًا، قَالَ: يَقُولُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ: يَا أَبَتِ، {الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَبِّكَ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمُمْتَرِينَ} [البقرة: 147] قَالَ: يَقُولُ مُعَاذٌ: " {سَتَجِدُنِي إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ} [الصافات: 102] "، فَمَاتَ مِنَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ آلُ مُعَاذٍ كُلُّهُمْ ثُمَّ كَانَ هُوَ آخِرَهُمْ
