Virtues of Hazrat Bilal bin Rabah (may Allah be pleased with him), the caller to prayer of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, narrated by Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him)

Mustadrak Al Hakim 5231
Makhool (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) was dark-complexioned, of delicate physique, tall, slightly hunched, with very thick hair, thin cheeks, and a considerable amount of white hair on his head, though his whole head had not turned white. Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) participated alongside the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) in the battles of Badr, Uhud, Khandaq (the Trench), and all the other expeditions. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) made him the brother of Ubaydah bin Harith bin Abdul Muttalib.
حضرت مکحول رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : حضرت بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کا رنگ کالا تھا ، جسامت کمزور ، قد لمبا ، جھکے ہوئے ، ان کے بال بہت گھنے تھے ، گال سکڑے ہوئے ، سر کے کافی بال سفید تھے لیکن پورا سر سفید نہیں ہوا تھا ۔ حضرت بلال رضی اللہ عنہ جنگ بدر ، احد ، خندق اور تمام غزوات میں رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ہمراہ شریک ہوئے ۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ان کو حضرت عبیدہ بن حارث بن عبدالمطلب کا بھائی بنایا تھا ۔
Hazrat Makhool (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain : Hazrat Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ka rang kala tha , jasamut kamzor , qad lamba , jhuke hue , un ke baal bahut ghane the , gaal sikre hue , sar ke kaafi baal safaid the lekin poora sar safaid nahi hua tha . Hazrat Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) jang Badr , Uhud , Khandaq aur tamam ghazwaat mein Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke humrah sharik hue . Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un ko Hazrat Ubaidah bin Harith bin Abdul Muttalib ka bhai banaya tha .
وَحَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ رَأَى بِلَالًا «كَانَ رَجُلًا شَدِيدَ الْأَدَمَةِ، نَحِيفًا طُوَالًا، أَحْنَأَ، لَهُ شَعْرٌ كَثِيرٌ، خَفِيفُ الْعَارِضَيْنِ، بِهِ شَمَطٌ كَثِيرٌ وَلَا يُغَيِّرُ، وَشَهِدَ بِلَالٌ بَدْرًا وَأُحُدًا وَالْخَنْدَقَ وَالْمَشَاهِدَ كُلَّهَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، آخَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ»
