The virtues of the Prophet's companions and his paternal cousin, Hazrat Zubair bin Awam bin Khuwaylid bin Asad bin Abdul Uzza (RA)
فضائل حواري رسول الله ﷺ وبنت عمه ﷺ حضرت زبير بن عوام بن خويلد بن أسد بن عبد العزي رضي الله عنه
Mustadrak Al Hakim 5543
Hisham ibn Urwah said: Zubayr ibn al-Awwam, may Allah be pleased with him, embraced Islam at the age of sixteen, and he was martyred when he was a little over sixty years old.
ہشام بن عروہ کہتے ہیں : حضرت زبیر رضی اللہ عنہ سولہ سال کی عمر میں اسلام لے آئے تھے ، اور ساٹھ سے کچھ زائد عمر میں ان کو شہید کیا گیا ۔
Hisham bin Urwah kahte hain : Hazrat Zubair (رضي الله تعالى عنه) solah saal ki umar mein Islam le aaye the, aur saath se kuchh zaid umar mein un ko shaheed kya gaya.
أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْقَاضِي، ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْقَاضِي، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ يَقُولُ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ قَالَ: «أَسْلَمَ الزُّبَيْرُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سِتَّ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً، وَقُتِلَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ بِضْعٍ وَسِتِّينَ»
