The virtues of Hazrat Owais bin Aamir Qarni (RA), a contemplative member of the Ummah of Muhammad (SAW)
فضائل أويس بن عامر قرني رضي الله عنه، أحد رهبان أمة محمدية
Mustadrak Al Hakim 5728
Abu Muqim said: “I saw a woman in the mosque of Uways al-Qarani, may Allah be pleased with him. She said: ‘Uways al-Qarani, may Allah be pleased with him, and his companions used to gather in this mosque and pray and recite the Holy Qur’an. I used to bring their morning and evening meals and leave them here.’ She said: ‘This was their way. These people were martyred fighting alongside Uways al-Qarani, may Allah be pleased with him, in support of Ali, may Allah be pleased with him.’”
ابومکین کہتے ہیں : میں نے ایک خاتون کو حضرت اویس قرنی رضی اللہ عنہ کی مسجد میں دیکھا وہ کہہ رہی تھی : حضرت اویس قرنی رضی اللہ عنہ اور ان کے ساتھی اس مسجد میں جمع ہو کر نماز ادا کرتے ، قرآن کریم کی تلاوت کیا کرتے تھے اور میں ان کے لئے صبح اور شام کا کھانا لا کر یہاں رکھا کرتی تھی ، وہ کہتی ہیں : یہ ان کا طریقہ تھا ، یہ لوگ حضرت اویس رضی اللہ عنہ کے ہمراہ حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کی حمایت میں لڑتے ہوئے شہید ہو گئے ۔
Abumakin kahte hain : main ne aik khatoon ko Hazrat Uwais Qarni razi Allah anhu ki masjid mein dekha woh keh rahi thi : Hazrat Uwais Qarni razi Allah anhu aur un ke sathi is masjid mein jama ho kar namaz ada karte , Quran Kareem ki tilawat kya karte the aur main un ke liye subah aur sham ka khana la kar yahan rakha karti thi , woh kehti hain : yeh un ka tareeqa tha , yeh log Hazrat Uwais razi Allah anhu ke hamrah Hazrat Ali razi Allah anhu ki himayat mein ladte huye shaheed ho gaye .
حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَالَوَيْهِ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ الْحَدَّادُ، ثَنَا أَبُو مَكِينٍ قَالَ: "" رَأَيْتُ امْرَأَةً فِي مَسْجِدِ أُوَيْسٍ الْقَرَنِيِّ قَالَتْ: كَانَ يَجْتَمِعُ هُوَ وَأَصْحَابٌ لَهُ فِي مَسْجِدِهِمْ هَذَا، يُصَلُّونَ وَيَقْرَءُونَ فِي مَصَاحِفِهِمْ، فَآتِي غَدَاءَهُمْ وَعَشَاءَهُمْ هَا هُنَا، حَتَّى يُصَلُّوا الصَّلَوَاتِ ""، قَالَتْ: «وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ دَأْبُهُمْ مَا شَهِدُوا، حَتَّى غَزْوَا فَاسْتُشْهِدَ أُوَيْسٌ وَجَمَاعَةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ فِي الرَّجَّالَةِ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 5728 - سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
