The virtues of Hazrat Nu'man bin Bashir bin Saad Ansari (RA)

Muhammad bin Amr bin Hazm said: "We were sitting with them, and there was a discussion about whose birth was the first in Medina after the arrival of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Someone said: 'Nu'man bin Bashir was born in the same year that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to Medina.' Another one said: 'Abdullah bin Abi Talha was born.' The first man said: 'If Umm Sulaim was pregnant with Abdullah bin Abi Talha at that time, then Abdullah's birth must have been after Umm Sulaim came to Medina.'"
محمد بن عمرو بن حزم فرماتے ہیں : ہم ان کے پاس بیٹھے ہوئے تھے ، تو اس بارے میں تذکرہ چلا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کے مدینہ منورہ تشریف لانے کے بعد سب سے پہلے کس کی ولادت ہوئی ؟ ایک نے کہا : رسول اللہ ﷺ کے مدینہ منورہ آنے کے ایک ہی سال میں نعمان بن بشیر پیدا ہوئے تھے ، اور ایک نے کہا کہ عبداللہ بن ابی طلحہ پیدا ہوئے تھے ۔ پہلے آدمی نے کہا : اگر ام سلیم اس وقت عبداللہ بن ابی طلحہ کے ساتھ حاملہ تھیں تو عبداللہ کی پیدائش ام سلیم کے مدینہ منورہ آنے کے بعد ہوئی ۔
Muhammad bin Amro bin Hazm farmate hain: hum un ke pas baithe hue the, tou iss bare mein tazkira chala ke Rasool Allah ke Madina Munawwara tashreef lane ke bad sab se pehle kis ki wiladat hui? Ek ne kaha: Rasool Allah ke Madina Munawwara aane ke ek hi saal mein Nauman bin Bashir paida hue the, aur ek ne kaha ke Abdullah bin Abi Talha paida hue the. Pehle aadmi ne kaha: agar Umm-e-Sulaim iss waqt Abdullah bin Abi Talha ke sath hamil theen tou Abdullah ki paidaish Umm-e-Sulaim ke Madina Munawwara aane ke bad hui.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ قَالَ: جَلَسْنَا عِنْدَهُ فَذَكَرَ أَوَّلَ مَوْلُودٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ بَعْدَ قَدُومِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَدِينَةَ، فَقَالَ: «النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ وُلِدَ بَعْدَ أَنْ قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَدِينَةَ بِسَنَةٍ أَوْ أَقَلَّ مِنْ سَنَةٍ» ، قَالَ: فَذَكَرُوا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، فَقَالَ: «لَوْ كَانَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ حَامِلًا بِهِ فَوَلَدَتْ بَعْدَ أَنْ قَدِمَتِ الْمَدِينَةَ»
