Abu Ahmad al-Hakim: His hadith is not upright
Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: In general, his hadith is not preserved, and once: His hadiths are weak, except for the narration of Hajjaj from him, which is upright
Abu Ja'far al-'Uqayli: He has many munkar (rejected) hadiths
Abu Hatim al-Razi: He lies about al-Zubayr, and once: I do not know him
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: He narrates from al-Zubayr ibn 'Adi with a fabricated manuscript, many of which have no origin. He narrates from al-Zubayr, on the authority of Anas, something similar to one hundred and fifty hadiths, all of which are musnads. Al-Zubayr only heard one hadith from Anas. No time will come upon you but that which comes after it will be worse than it. Hajjaj ibn Yusuf ibn Qutaybah narrated from him that manuscript
