Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: He has many hadiths from Hisham and from the people of Wasit and the people of Basra, and I did not see anything wrong with his hadiths if a trustworthy person narrated from him, and I did not hear anyone say anything about him that attributed weakness to him except Abbas al-Anbari in a story of Abdan from him, and I did not include anything from him because I did not see anything objectionable in him.
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: Very upright in hadith.
Abu Muhammad ibn Hazm al-Zahiri: He was accused of some tadlis (concealing the chain of narration).
Aslam ibn Sahl al-Wasiti: Trustworthy
Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani: Truthful, he was accused of some tadlis.
Al-Dhahabi: Truthful
Bahshal al-Masri: Trustworthy
Abd al-Baqi ibn Qani' al-Baghdadi: He was righteous.
Ali ibn al-Madini: Trustworthy
Authors of Tahrir Taqrib al-Tahdhib: Trustworthy, no one spoke against him except Abbas al-Anbari, and his criticism should be considered specific in order to be accepted from him because he is alone in it, and I do not know anyone who accused him of tadlis.
