Al-Khatib al-Baghdadi: He was trustworthy, a hafiz (one who has memorized the Quran), and narrated many hadiths. He was difficult in narration, and when he was at the end of his life, he resolved to teach and dictate hadith in a public gathering. He prepared for that, and there was nothing left but to set a date for the gathering, but he died. He wrote a large book. He memorized very well and studied. He was difficult in hadith, and he had unsatisfactory manners.
