Abu Ahmad al-Hakim: Lenient
Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: He is worthless, and his hadiths are among those that he narrates alone from the trustworthy, and he is not followed in them
Abu Hatim al-Razi: He is nothing
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: He was one of those who narrated munkar (rejected) narrations from the famous and contradicted the trustworthy in narrations. It is not permissible to rely on him
Abu Hafs Umar ibn Shahin: He said: "This statement of Yahya was supported by Muhammad ibn Abi 'Adi in one of his two opinions, and he is older than Yahya. So, if someone else agrees with him in one of his two opinions, then the opinion is his in the one that he supported."
Abu Dawud al-Sijistani: He is not like that and once: He is not strong
Ahmad ibn Shuayb al-Nasa'i: Weak
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Weak
Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya: Yahya al-Qattan abandoned him
al-Daraqutni: Confused in Hadith
al-Dhahabi: They weakened him
Abd al-Rahman ibn Qays al-Zafarani: Weak in Hadith
Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Qattan: He used to narrate munkar (rejected) things from 'Ata' on the authority of Ibn 'Abbas, and once: He used to weaken his hadith, and once: Weak, and once: I do not narrate anything from al-Nuhas
Yahya ibn Ma'in: He is nothing, weak, and once: He is not bad
