Abu Hatim al-Razi: They criticize him, saying that he took books from Muhammad ibn Salama and narrated from them, and I found lies in what he narrated.
Ibn 'Iraq: He narrated hadiths falsely.
al-Daraqutni: Weak, not to be used as evidence.
al-Dhahabi: He cited a hadith from him, then said: This is a fabrication, and al-Ras'ani is the narrator of the hadith from Sa'id. His place, God willing, is truthfulness, meaning al-Ras'ani.
Sabt ibn al-'Ajami: He quoted al-Dhahabi's words in his hadith and said: "The burden then is on this Sa'id, so he is the one who fabricated it."
