Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: A hafiz who fabricates hadiths. In my opinion, he is among those who steal hadiths. He has many authentic hadiths and he is among the counted hafiz of Basra. Some of his hadiths are fabricated and some are stolen and his situation is similar to what Abdan said that his books were lost, so he used to narrate from memory and made mistakes, and that he came from there, so it is suspected of him, so because of his boldness and ability to memorize, he passes the limit.
Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah: He criticized him.
Abu Hatim al-Razi: He is not reliable and his hadiths are abandoned.
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: He used to memorize until he was mentioned among the hafiz, but he did not describe himself so that it would come to mind, and we ask God Almighty for the beauty of covering by His grace and generosity.
Abu Zar'ah al-Razi: He used to fabricate chains of narration.
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: He was a hafiz and I asked Amr al-Naqid to go to Sulaiman to learn from him the criticism of men, and once: I did not see anyone more knowledgeable or more pious than him.
Ahmad ibn Shuayb al-Nasa'i: He is not trustworthy.
Al-Khatib al-Baghdadi: A hafiz who narrated many hadiths, he came to Baghdad and sat with the hafiz there and mentioned them.
Al-Dhahabi: It was said that he used to drink alcohol and fabricate hadiths.
Al-Qasim ibn Salam al-Harawi: The most knowledgeable of hadith.
Said ibn al-Musayyib al-Qurashi: He mentioned a fabricated hadith of his.
Salih ibn Muhammad Juzrah: I have not seen anyone who memorizes more than him, and he was accused of lying in hadith.
Abbas ibn Abd al-Azim al-Anbari: The most knowledgeable of the minor details of hadith, and Ali ibn al-Madini of its major details.
Abdullah ibn Sulayman ibn al-Ash'ath: He considered him weak.
