Abu Ahmad al-Hakim: Trustworthy in his hadith when he narrates from the trustworthy, but he may narrate from people like al-Awza'i, al-Zubaydi and Ubaydullah ibn Umar hadiths similar to fabricated ones, which he took from Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman, Yusuf ibn al-Sifer and others from the weak, dropping them from the chain and narrating them from those who narrated them from them
Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: In some of his narrations he contradicts the trustworthy, and when he narrates from the people of al-Sham he is reliable, and when he narrates from others he mixes, like Ismail ibn Ayyash, when he narrates from the people of al-Sham he is reliable, and when he narrates from the people of al-Hijaz and Iraq, he contradicts the trustworthy in his narration from them
Abu Ishaq al-Fazari: Zakariya ibn Adi asked him about him, so he said: If he narrates to you from someone you know and someone you don't know, then don't write from him
Abu al-Hasan ibn al-Qattan al-Fasi: He practices Tadlis from the weak, and permits himself to do so, and this, if true, invalidates his righteousness
Abu Bakr al-Bayhaqi: They agreed upon me that Baqiyyah is not an authority
Abu Ja'far al-'Uqayli: Truthful in his speech, except that he takes from those who are accepted and rejected, so he is not reliable
Abu Hatim al-Razi: He writes down the hadith of Baqiyyah, but does not consider him an authority
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Basti: Trustworthy, reliable, but he was a Mudallis
Abu Zur'a al-Razi: When he narrates from the trustworthy, then he is trustworthy
Abu Abd Allah al-Hakim al-Naysaburi: Trustworthy, reliable, and once he said: When he narrates from the famous, then he is reliable and accepted
Abu Mushir al-Ghassani: Beware of Baqiyyah, his hadiths are not pure, so be wary of them

Ahmad ibn Hanbal: If he narrates from people who are not known, then do not accept it from him, and if Baqiyyah narrates from the known, such as Bahir ibn Sa'id and others, then it is accepted, and once: Baqiyyah narrated from Ubaydullah ibn Umar fabrications, and once: He was asked about Damra and Baqiyyah, which of them is dearer to him? He said: Not Damra, Baqiyyah is dearer to us, he did not care who he narrated from, and once: Ismail was a companion
Ahmad ibn Shu'ayb al-Nasa'i: If he says 'He narrated to me' and 'He narrated to us' then there is no problem, and once if he says 'He informed us' or 'He narrated to us' then he is trustworthy, and if he says 'From' then it is not taken from him, it is not known from whom he took it
Ahmad ibn Salih al-Jili: Trustworthy in what he narrated from the known, and what he narrated from the unknown, then it is not reliable
Ahmad ibn Yusuf al-Azraq: He mentioned what indicates that he calls for listening from Mudallis and added his name to Abu al-'Ajab
Ibrahim ibn Ya'qub al-Jawzajani: May Allah have mercy on Baqiyyah, he did not care if he found a fabrication from whom he takes, and if he narrates from the trustworthy, then there is no problem with him, and once: If he narrates alone, then he is not considered an authority because of his many mistakes
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Truthful, much Tadlis from the weak, once: Famous, differed about, and he has a suspended position
al-Khatib al-Baghdadi: In his hadith are fabrications, except that most of them are from the unknown, and he was truthful
al-Daraqutni: He narrates from abandoned people, and he narrates from abandoned people like Majashi' ibn 'Amr, and Abd Allah ibn Yahya, and I do not know him, and I do not know of any narrator for him other than Baqiyyah
Zakariya ibn Yahya al-Saji: There is disagreement about him
Sibṭ ibn al-'Ajami: Famous for Tadlis, he narrates a lot from the weak, and he practices Tadlis al-Taswiyyah
Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah: Do not listen from Baqiyyah what was in a year and listen from him what was in reward and other than that
Shu'bah ibn al-Hajjaj: He was exaggerating about him, and once: He said to him: 'O Abu Yahya, how beautiful is your hadith, but it has no pillars
Abd al-Haqq ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Ishbili: He is not considered an authority
Ali ibn al-Madini: Reliable in what he narrated from the people of al-Sham, but as for the people of al-Hijaz, and Iraq, then he is very weak, he narrated from Ubaydullah ibn Umar fabricated hadiths
Muhammad ibn Ishaq ibn Khuzaymah: I do not consider Baqiyyah an authority
Muhammad ibn Sa'd كاتب الواقدي: Trustworthy in his narration from the trustworthy, weak in his narration from other than the trustworthy
Muhammad ibn Abd Allah al-Makhrami: Baqiyyah troubled me, he used to name the kunyas and give kunyas to the names, and once: Truthful in his speech, but he used to write from those who are accepted and rejected, and once: If Ismail and Baqiyyah were gathered in a hadith, then Baqiyyah is more dear to me
The authors of Tahrir Taqrib al-Tahdhib: Weak, he practices Tadlis al-Taswiyyah, which is the worst type of Tadlis
Yahya ibn Ma'in: Reliable, and once: If he narrates from the trustworthy, such as Sufyan ibn 'Amr and others, but if he narrates from those unknown, then no, and if he uses a kunya and does not mention the man's name, then it is worth nothing, and he once said: Ali ibn Thabit, Ismail ibn Ayyash, Baqiyyah, Marwan ibn Mu'awiyah and Zayd ibn Habbab are trustworthy in themselves except that they narrate from everyone and come to us
Ya'qub ibn Sufyan al-Faswi: His hadith is worth nothing
Ya'qub ibn Shaybah al-Sadusi: Truthful, trustworthy, and he avoids narrating from his shaykhs who are not known, and he has very fabricated hadiths, and he once said: He is trustworthy, good in hadith, when he narrates from the known, and he narrates from abandoned people in hadith, and from the weak, and he avoids their names to their kunyas, and from their kunyas to their names, and he narrates from those who are younger than him
