Ahmad ibn Shu'ayb An-Nasa'i: Thiqah (Trustworthy)
Ibn Hajar Al-'Asqalani: Thiqah (Trustworthy), and once: Al-Azdi criticized him, saying he is questionable, and As-Saji followed him in that because he mentioned him among the weak narrators and said Malik did not narrate from him. This weakening is rejected, as the five (major Hadith scholars) relied on him.
