Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: Famous and well-known among the trustworthy narrators. He is weak in al-Zuhri's Hadith, especially. His narrations from other than al-Zuhri are acceptable, and they have been authenticated in the narrations of Maimun ibn Mihran and others. His Hadiths are straight and good.
Abu Ja'far al-'Uqayli: Weak in his narration from al-Zuhri.
Abu Hatim al-Razi: He is trustworthy, his Hadith is written down.
Abu Hafs 'Umar ibn Shahin: Trustworthy except in al-Zuhri's Hadith.
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: When he narrates from other than al-Zuhri, there is no problem with him. In al-Zuhri's Hadith, he makes mistakes. And once: Trustworthy, precise in the Hadith of Maimun and the Hadith of Yazid ibn al-Asamm. He is confused and inconsistent in al-Zuhri's Hadith.
Ahmad ibn Shu'ayb al-Nasa'i: He is not strong in al-Zuhri's Hadith, but in other than that, there is no problem with him.
Ahmad ibn Salih al-Jili: Trustworthy.
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Truthful, he makes some mistakes in al-Zuhri's Hadith.
al-Daraqutni: He was forgetful in his memorization, some mistakes.
al-Dhahabi: Trustworthy except in al-Zuhri's Hadith.
Zakariya ibn Yahya al-Saji: He has some strange narrations.
Sufyan al-Thawri: I have not seen anyone better than him.
Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah: Trustworthy, a remnant of the remnants of the Muslims.
Muhammad ibn Ishaq ibn Khuzaymah: He is not relied upon if he narrates alone.
Muhammad ibn Isma'il al-Bukhari: Trustworthy, he may make mistakes in some things.
Muhammad ibn Sa'd Kathir al-Waqidi: Trustworthy, truthful, he had narration, fiqh, and fatwa in his time, and he made many mistakes in his Hadith.
Muhammad ibn 'Abdullah ibn Numayr: Trustworthy, his Hadiths from al-Zuhri are confused.
Marwan ibn Muhammad al-Tatri: Ja'far ibn Barqan, by Allah, the trustworthy, the just.
