Abu Nu'aym al-Asbahani: Narrated fabrications from Ismail ibn Abi Khalid, al-A'mash, and al-Thawri. 'Amr ibn 'Awn al-Wasiti narrated from him

Ahmad ibn Shu'ayb al-Nasa'i: He is not trustworthy
Ibrahim ibn Abi Talib al-Naysaburi: Abandoned, they criticize him
