Abu Ahmad al-Hakim: His hadith are rejected
Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: Most of his hadith from those he narrated from are not preserved
Abu al-Husayn ibn al-Munadi: He recited to Asim many times and the early scholars considered him superior to Abu Bakr ibn Ayash in memorization. They described him as precise in preserving the pronunciation in which he recited to Asim. He was the most knowledgeable of the people in recitation, and the recitation he took from Asim went back to Ali, may Allah be pleased with him
Abu al-Faraj ibn al-Jawzi: He weakened him
Abu Bakr al-Bayhaqi: He is weak according to the hadith scholars. It was narrated from Abu Isa al-Tirmidhi that he said: He is weak in hadith. He also said once: Others are more trustworthy than him
Abu Bakr ibn Ayash: He was asked: Abu Umar, did you see him with Asim? He said: More than one person has asked me about this, and no one recited to Asim except that I knew him, and I did not see this one with Asim
Abu Hatim al-Razi: His hadith should not be written down. He is weak in hadith, not truthful, his hadith are abandoned
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: He used to change the chains of narrators, elevate mursal hadith, and narrate from those he did not hear from
Abu Zur'a al-Razi: He is weak in hadith
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: Acceptable. And once: His hadith are abandoned. And once: There is nothing wrong with him
Ahmad ibn Shu'ayb al-Nasa'i: He is not trustworthy, and his hadith should not be written down. And once: Abandoned
Ibrahim ibn Ya'qub al-Jawzajani: He gave up on him long ago
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: His hadith are abandoned, despite his mastery in Quranic recitation. He said in al-Matalib al-'Aliya: Weak
Al-Dhahabi: Weak in hadith, but trustworthy in Quranic recitation. He is trustworthy and precise in Quranic recitation, unlike his state in hadith
Hafs ibn Sulayman al-Asadi: His hadith are abandoned
Zakariya ibn Yahya al-Saji: Among those whose hadith are rejected by him due to numerous mistakes
Shu'ba ibn al-Hajjaj: He took a book from me and did not return it. He used to take people's books and copy them
Salih ibn Muhammad al-Jazara: His hadith should not be written down, and all his hadith are munkar (rejected)
Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi: By Allah, it is not permissible to narrate from him
Abd al-Rahman ibn Yusuf ibn Kharash: A liar, abandoned, fabricates hadith
Ali ibn al-Junayd al-Razi: His hadith are munkar (rejected)
Ali ibn al-Madini: He is weak in hadith, and I abandoned him intentionally
Muhammad ibn Isma'il al-Bukhari: They abandoned him
Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj al-Naysaburi: His hadith are abandoned
Wakee' ibn al-Jarrah: Trustworthy
Yahya ibn Ma'in: He is not trustworthy. And once: He was a liar. And once: Hafs ibn Sulayman and Abu Bakr ibn Ayash were among the most knowledgeable people of Asim's recitation, and Hafs was a better reciter than Abu Bakr. Abu Bakr was truthful, and Hafs was a liar
