Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jarjani: His hadiths do not resemble the hadiths of the trustworthy. He either comes with an isnad that is not followed upon him, or with a text from the trustworthy that is rejected, or he narrates from an unknown person. And once: His hadiths are strange and most of what he narrates is not followed upon him.
Abu Hatim al-Razi: He is not strong, he denies the hadith from the trustworthy.
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: There was nothing wrong with him.
Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani: He is lenient in him.
Al-Dhahabi: He mentioned his weakening from a group.
