Abu Bishr al-Dulabi: He makes mistakes in some things
Abu Bakr al-Bazzar: Not strong
Abu Hatim al-Razi: He is alright
Abu Dawud al-Sijistani: He makes mistakes like other people
Abu Zar'ah al-Razi: Not strong
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: His Hadiths are good, I see no problem with him
Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani: Saduq (truthful), but makes mistakes
Al-Dhahabi: Thiqah (trustworthy)
Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi: He makes mistakes in some things
Amr ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Abar: I saw elders of Hadith avoiding his Hadith
Muhammad ibn Ismail al-Bukhari: He makes mistakes in some things
Yahya ibn Ma'in: Thiqah (trustworthy), and once: He is alright, and in a narration by Ibn Mahriz, Sawyil al-Hadith (a lot of mistakes in his Hadith)
Yaqub ibn Sufyan al-Faswi: They avoid his Hadith and are cautious of him
