Abu Ahmad ibn Adi Al-Jarjani: Generally, what Hanzalah narrated is upright. Hanzalah has authentic hadiths, and if a trustworthy narrator narrates from him, then it is upright. He considered a hadith narrated by him from Nafi' from Ibn Umar to be strange, and perhaps the flaw is from someone else.
