Abu Bakr Al-Bayhaqi: He narrated from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih that he said: 'He is trustworthy in my view.'
Abu Hatim Ar-Razi: Trustworthy.
Abu 'Amr ibn As-Salih: It was said that he changed towards the end of his life and people stopped relying on him for that reason, Al-Abnasi commented saying: 'No one objected to his integrity and the group considered him trustworthy.'
Abu Muhammad Al-Abnusi: No one spoke against him except regarding his opinions, not regarding his integrity, although more than one person cleared him of the accusations regarding his opinions.
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: He did not approve of his opinions because many of them contradict the Musnad because he did not expand on them.

Al-Khatib Al-Baghdadi: He was a knowledgeable and learned jurist, memorizing fiqh and hadith. Malik, the jurist, learned from him.
Adh-Dhahabi: The jurist of Medina, the opinion giver.
Al-Layth ibn Sa'd Al-Misri: He was the one who solved the difficult issues of the people of Medina and their leader in issuing fatwas.
Sufyan Ath-Thawri: He did not approve of his opinions because many of them contradict the Musnad because he did not expand on them.
Suwar ibn 'Abdullah Al-'Anbari: I have not seen anyone more knowledgeable than him. It was said to him: 'Not even Al-Hasan and Ibn Sirin?' He said: 'Not even Al-Hasan and Ibn Sirin.'
Abdur-Rahman ibn Zayd Al-Qurashi: Rabi'ah attained fiqh, excellence, and there was no one in Medina more generous than him.

Muhammad ibn Idris Ash-Shafi'i: He did not approve of his opinions because many of them contradict the Musnad because he did not expand on them.
Muhammad ibn Sa'd, the scribe of Al-Waqidi: Trustworthy, narrated many hadiths, and they used to be cautious of him due to his opinions.
Muhammad ibn 'Umar (Ibn Shihab Az-Zuhri): He had chivalry and generosity, along with his fiqh and knowledge, trustworthy, narrated many hadiths, and it is as if they were cautious of him due to his opinions.
Yahya ibn Sa'id Al-Qattan: I have not seen anyone with a sharper mind than Rabi'ah.
Ya'qub ibn Shaybah As-Suddi: Trustworthy, one of the confirmed Muftis of Medina.
