Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: Most of his hadiths from those who narrate from him are rarely followed by anyone, and despite his weakness, his hadiths are written down.
Abu Bakr al-Bayhaqi: He is not to be cited as evidence, and once: Weak
Abu Hatim al-Razi: He is rejected in Hadith, and there is negligence in him, and he narrates fabrications from the trustworthy. He is weak in Hadith, how close he is to Dawood ibn al-Muhabbar and Ibn Lahi'ah al-Astar, and Rushdin is weaker.
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: He was among those who would answer whatever he was asked and read whatever was presented to him, whether it was his hadith or not. Thus, fabrications prevailed in his narrations over his sound hadiths.
Abu Hafs 'Umar ibn Shahin: He considered him trustworthy
Abu Dawud al-Sijistani: Weak, he is nothing.
Abu Zur'ah al-Razi: Weak in Hadith
Abu Sa'id ibn Yunus al-Masri: He was a righteous man, there is no doubt about his righteousness and virtue, but the negligence of the righteous overtook him, so he mixed up in Hadith.
Abu 'Isa al-Tirmidhi: Some scholars have spoken about Rushdin ibn Sa'd and his weakness due to his memorization.
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: He considered him weak, and preferred Ibn Lahi'ah over him, and once: He does not care who he narrates from, but he is a righteous man, then he said: There is nothing wrong with him in the hadiths of tenderness, and once: I hope that he is righteous in Hadith.
Ahmad ibn Shu'ayb al-Nasa'i: Abandoned in Hadith, Weak
Ibrahim ibn Ya'qub al-Jawzajani: He has contradictions and many fabrications.
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Weak
al-Daraqutni: Weak
al-Dhahabi: Bad memorization, and he was a righteous, devout, and hadith scholar.
al-Haytham ibn Kharijah al-Khurasani: He considered him trustworthy
Sa'id ibn Abi Maryam: He used to praise him for his religion.
Abd al-Baqi ibn Qani' al-Baghdadi: Weak in Hadith
Amr ibn 'Ali al-Fallas: Weak in Hadith
Qatibah ibn Sa'id: He did not care, whatever was presented to him, he read it.
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna: He had fabrications.
Muhammad ibn Sa'd, the scribe of al-Waqidi: Weak
Muhammad ibn 'Abdullah ibn Numayr: His hadith should not be written.
Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj al-Naysaburi: Weak in Hadith
Yahya ibn Ma'in: His hadith should not be written, and once: He is nothing, and once: The two Rushdins are not to be confused: Rushdin ibn Kuraib and Rushdin ibn Sa'd, and once: He is not one of those whose narrations are acceptable, and once: Weak
