Abu Ahmad al-Hakim: There are some Munkar (rejected) Hadiths in his narration
Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: Perhaps the people of Syria made mistakes in narrating from him, for when the people of Iraq narrate from him, their narrations from him are almost straight. I hope that he is fine
Abu Bakr al-Bayhaqi: He quoted al-Nasa'i as saying: He is not strong
Abu Ja'far al-'Uqayli: No one follows him except from a lenient perspective. He mentioned him among the weak narrators
Abu Hatim al-Razi: His place is of truthfulness, but there is weakness in his memorization. His Hadith in Syria was rejected more than his Hadith in Iraq due to his poor memorization. So what he narrated from his memory has errors in it, but what he narrated from his books is sound
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: He makes mistakes and contradicts
Abu 'Urubah al-Harrani: As if his Hadiths are beneficial
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: Trustworthy, and once: He is fine, and once: Close to Hadith, once: Straight in Hadith, once: They narrate Munkar (rejected) Hadiths from him
Ahmad ibn Shu'ayb al-Nasa'i: Weak, once: He is not strong, once: He is fine. 'Amr ibn Abi Salamah narrated Munkar (rejected) Hadiths from him
Ahmad ibn Salih al-Jili: Acceptable in Hadith
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: The narration of the people of Syria is straight, so he was weakened because of it, once: He is disagreed upon. The author of al-Mizan refuted this, saying that the majority accepted him and he is as he said. Ibn 'Abd al-Barr went too far in criticizing him
Ibn 'Abd al-Barr al-Andalusi: Weak according to everyone
Al-Dhahabi: Trustworthy but he narrates strange things
Zakaria ibn Yahya al-Saji: Trustworthy, Munkar al-Hadith (rejecting Hadith)
Salih ibn Muhammad Juzrah: Trustworthy, Truthful
Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi: He narrated a Hadith from him, then abandoned him
Uthman ibn Sa'id al-Darimi: Trustworthy, Truthful, but he has many errors
Isa ibn Yunus al-Sabi'i: Trustworthy
Muhammad ibn Isma'il al-Bukhari: What the people of Syria narrated from him are Munkar (rejected). What the people of Basra narrated from him is Sahih (authentic)
Musa ibn Harun al-Hammal: I hope that he is truthful
Yahya ibn Ma'in: Good, no problem with him, and once: Trustworthy, and once: Weak, and once: His Hadiths are beneficial
Ya'qub ibn Shaybah al-Suddusi: Trustworthy, good in Hadith
