Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: I copied the manuscript from him and it was close to a thousand hadiths, and I copied most of it from him. These hadiths and other munkar (rejected) hadiths are in these manuscripts, and in them are narrations that correspond with the texts of the truthful. He was accused of forging these manuscripts, and I did not find any origin for him in them. He used to bring us (hadiths) in fresh handwriting and on new paper.
Al-Husayn ibn Ali ibn al-Husayn ibn Umar al-Alawi: What was mentioned is that he definitely did not have a narration from his father nor from anyone else.
