Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: He was not one of the hadith scholars, and he was mostly known for his indulgence in pleasures and amusement.
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: He was a promiscuous person who openly displayed his immorality. It is not permissible to rely on him.
Ibn Abd al-Hadi ibn al-Mubrad: He was an eloquent poet, advanced in knowledge and language. Most of the jurists learned from him. At the beginning of his life, he was religious, but then he changed, became dissolute, and abandoned religion.
Zakaria ibn Yahya al-Saji: He holds unacceptable views.
Yahya ibn Ma'in: No good person narrates from him. He used to release scorpions in the Grand Mosque to sting people and pour ink on the places of ablution to blacken people's faces. And once: He was a heretic. And once: He was not one of the hadith scholars.
