Abu Ahmad ibn Adi Al-Jarjani: He has many Hadiths, and he is one of the trustworthy Shaykhs of Kufa, whose truthfulness is not doubted, such as the chain of narration, and some of them he elevates, and no one else elevates them, and the rest from Al-Thawri are all straight. And what Ibn Ma'in said is that his Hadith from Al-Thawri is reversed, and he only has Hadiths from Al-Thawri that resemble some of those Hadiths that are strange to be narrated.
