Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: He was among those who narrated Munkar (rejected) Hadiths from famous people and whose mistakes were so many that it is better to avoid using him as a reference.
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: He claimed that he heard the reading of Malik ibn Anas' books, and people deny that. He is here in Baghdad and has not performed Hajj, so how could he have heard the reading of Malik?
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Saduq (truthful), but he has some mistakes.
al-Dhahabi: Thiqah (trustworthy), and he mentioned him in al-Muqni'.
Zakariya ibn Yahya al-Saji: They criticize his Hadith.
Sufyan al-Thawri: He saw him giving Fatwas in matters and making mistakes in them. Sa'd, his son, is more knowledgeable than him.
Salih ibn Muhammad al-Jazara: He is okay. And once: He has a bad memory.
Yahya ibn Ma'in: There is nothing wrong with him, I have written from him.
Ya'qub ibn Shaybah al-Sadusi: Thiqah (trustworthy), Saduq (truthful), Salih (righteous).
