Abu Ahmad ibn 'Adi al-Jurjani: There is no one among the people of opinion who narrated more Hadiths than him, except that he narrates a lot from the weak narrators, and often disagrees with his peers and follows the trace, and if a trustworthy narrator narrates from him and he narrates from a trustworthy narrator, then there is nothing wrong with him.
Abu Ibrahim al-Muzani: He was the most follower of Hadith among the people.

Ammar ibn Abi Malik: There was no one like Abu Yusuf among them. Were it not for Abu Yusuf, neither Abu Hanifa nor Ibn Abi Layla would have been mentioned. But it was he who spread their words and disseminated their knowledge.
Amr ibn Ali al-Fallas: Trustworthy, makes many mistakes
Amr ibn Muhammad al-Naqid: He was a man of Sunnah
