Abu Hatim al-Razi: Saduq (truthful), Thiqah (reliable). He was the most knowledgeable of the people in the Hadith of Ibn Abi 'Urwah. And once: Salih (righteous).
Ahmad ibn Shu'ayb al-Nasa'i: Thiqah (reliable), Thabt (firm).
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Thiqah (reliable).
Al-Dhahabi: Thabt (firm), knowledgeable in the Hadith of Sa'id bin 'Urwah.
Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi: There is no one among our companions who wrote down, memorized, and discussed Hadith from me like Yahya ibn Sa'id, Sufyan ibn Habib, and Yazid ibn Zurai'.
Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah al-'Absi: He is fine. He has some Munkar (rejected) Hadiths.
Amr ibn Ali al-Fallas: Thiqah (reliable).
Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Qattan: Knowledgeable in the Hadith of Shu'bah and Ibn Abi 'Urwah.
Ya'qub ibn Shaybah al-Suddusi: Thiqah (reliable), Thabt (firm).
