Abu Ahmad Al-Hakim: His hadiths are similar to fabricated ones.
Abu Ahmad bin Adi Al-Jurjani: His hadiths on the authority of Al-Awzai are all fabrications.
Abu Bakr Al-Bayhaqi: He is among those who fabricate hadith, and he narrated from Yaqub bin Sufyan, and said: 'His hadith should not be written except for knowledge,' meaning to know his condition, and his weakness in narration.

Abu Hatim bin Hibban Al-Busti: He is among those who narrate from Al-Awzai what is not from his hadiths, from the fabrications that the common people of hadith do not doubt that they are fabricated, and it is not permissible to argue with him in any way. And once: A sheikh who narrates from Al-Awzai many fabrications and outrageous delusions as if he was doing them intentionally, it is not permissible to argue with him in any way.
