Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: He is, in my opinion, from the people of truth, except that when he lost his books, he relied on his memory, so he would make mistakes and get confused, but he did not intend to lie.
Abu Ja'far al-'Uqayli: He was one of the worshippers. He buried his books, so he later narrated from his memory hadiths, some of which have no basis and some of which he erred in.
Abu Hatim al-Razi: He is not to be used as a reference.
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: Upright in hadith, he may have made mistakes, and he was one of the best of the people of his time.
Abu Ya'la al-Khalili: His memorization was not approved.
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: Trustworthy, and who is like him?
Muhammad ibn Ismail al-Bukhari: He had buried his books, so he would not narrate hadith as it should be.
