Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: Regarding what some unknown narrators narrate, I hope that some of it supports some other, and that there is nothing wrong with him, because he narrates from weak people who are not well-known, and perhaps the fault lies with them, not him.
Abu Bakr al-Bazzar: A well-known man from the people of Basra.
Abu Hatim al-Razi: There is nothing wrong with him.
Abu Dawud al-Sijistani: He is weak.
Ahmad ibn Shu'ayb al-Nasa'i: He is not strong.
Ahmad ibn Salih al-Jili: Trustworthy.
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Saduq (truthful), narrates from weak narrators.
Ali ibn al-Madini: He was an old man, there was nothing wrong with him.
Muhammad ibn Ishaq ibn Khuzaymah: I don't know him, and once: I am innocent of his covenant.
Muhammad ibn Abd Allah ibn Numayr: There is nothing wrong with him.
Wakee' ibn al-Jarrah: Trustworthy.
Yahya ibn Ma'in: Trustworthy, and once: There is nothing wrong with him.
