Abu Ahmad al-Hakim: Not considered strong by them
Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: There are some Munkar (rejected) hadiths in his narration, he has strange and unique narrations, his narrations are close and probable, I haven't found any hadith in his narration that has reached the limit of denial
Abu Hatim al-Razi: His position is of truthfulness, there is denial in his hadith, his hadith is written but not used as proof
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: He makes mistakes and contradicts, and he mentioned him among the wounded
Abu Dawud al-Sijistani: Thiqah (reliable)
Abu Zar'a al-Razi: The people of Ray do not like him because of his bad opinion, injustice, and oppression
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: I do not know except good
Ahmad ibn Shuayb al-Nasa'i: Da'if (weak)
Ishaq ibn Rahawayh: He is weak, there are some Munkar (rejected) hadiths in his narration
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Saduq Kathīr al-Khaṭa' (truthful, makes many mistakes)
Ali ibn al-Madini: We did not leave Ray until we discarded his hadith
Muhammad ibn Isma'il al-Bukhari: He has Munkar (rejected) narrations and there is an opinion about him, and once: I do not know what is with this Salama
Muhammad ibn Sa'd Kathir al-Waqidi: Thiqah (reliable), Saduq (truthful)
Authors of Tahrir Taqrib al-Tahdhib: Da'if (weak), considered reliable in hadith, strong in Maghazi (battles of the Prophet)
