Abu Ishaq ibn Yasin al-Harawi: He was one of the preservers of Islam, for the hadith of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and his knowledge, his reasoning, and his chain of narration are of the highest degree of asceticism, chastity, righteousness, and piety among the knights of hadith.
Abu Bakr al-Bayhaqi: Trustworthy Imam
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: One of the Imams of the world in jurisprudence, knowledge, memorization, asceticism, piety, and mastery. He collected, compiled, defended the Sunnah, and suppressed those who opposed it and fabricated against it.
Abu Abd Allah al-Hakim al-Naysaburi: The Imam of the people of hadith in his time, without dispute.
Ahmad ibn Ibrahim al-Qawhistani: Abu Dawud was likened to Ahmad ibn Hanbal.
