Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: I do not know anything wrong with his narrations except for these hadiths that I have mentioned. A group of people have narrated from him, and I did not see anything wrong with his hadith except for what I have mentioned.
Abu Hatim al-Razi: Saduq (truthful)
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: Sahih al-Hadith (authentic in Hadith), rarely made mistakes, and he was, Insha'Allah, Saduq (truthful)
Ahmad ibn Shuayb al-Nasa'i: Da'if (weak)
Ahmad ibn Salih al-Jili: Thiqah (reliable) in Hadith
Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani: Saduq (truthful), may have erred sometimes
al-Dhahabi: Thiqah (reliable) Mukthir (abundant in narration)
Abd al-Baqi ibn Qani' al-Baghdadi: Authentified him
Muhammad ibn Sa'd Katb al-Waqidi: Authentified him
Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Numayr: Truthful, but not a Hadith scholar, and had it not been for what he did, not a single letter would have been written about him
Yahya ibn Ma'in: Da'if (weak), and once: On the authority of Mu'awiyah from Yahya, he said: He is nothing. And once: He is not Thiqah (reliable). And once: On the authority of Ubayd Allah ibn Muhammad al-Faqih, he said: I heard Yahya ibn Ma'in say: A liar, son of a liar. And once: On the authority of Ubayd Allah ibn Muhammad al-Faqih or someone else, who said: Yahya said: The master of the people is Asim ibn Ali ibn Asim
