Abu Dawud al-Sijistani: A caller to Irja
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: He weakened him.
Ahmad ibn Shuayb al-Nasa'i: He is not strong, and once: trustworthy
Ahmad ibn Salih al-Jili: Weak in Hadith, Murji
Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani: Saduq (truthful), he makes mistakes and was accused of Irja, and once: Al-Bukhari narrated from him one Hadith which Muslim narrated through another route and he only included what has an origin.
Abd al-Baqi ibn Qani' al-Baghdadi: Trustworthy
Muhammad ibn Sa'd Kathir al-Waqidi: Weak
Authors of Tahrir Taqrib al-Tahdhib: Saduq (truthful) Hasan al-Hadith (good in Hadith)
Yahya ibn Ma'in: In his narration from Ibn Abi Maryam: Weak, not anything, and in the narration of Abd Allah ibn Ahmad al-Dawraqi: Trustworthy, and once: Trustworthy but weak in mind, and once in the narration of Ibn Mahriz: Trustworthy, no problem with him, a truthful man
