Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: I hope there is nothing wrong with him, except that he has narrated hadiths about the virtues of the people of the House and the vices of others who are contradictory.

Ahmad ibn Hanbal: I have not seen anyone with better hadith than him. Once he said: He used to be prompted after he became blind, and whoever heard his books, they are more authentic. And once he said: After he lost his sight, he became weak.
Ahmad ibn Shu'ayb al-Nasa'i: He is subject to scrutiny. Those who wrote about him later wrote about contradictory hadiths.
Ahmad ibn Salih al-Jili: Trustworthy, he was a Shi'ite.
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Trustworthy Haafiz, famous compiler, became blind at the end of his life and changed. He was a Shi'ite. Once he said: One of the trustworthy Huffaz, the author of compilations, all the Imams considered him trustworthy except al-'Abbas ibn 'Abd al-'Azim al-'Anbari, who alone criticized him with excessive words that no one agreed with him on.

Abbas ibn 'Abd al-'Azim al-'Anbari: A liar, and al-Waqidi is more truthful than him. Al-Dhahabi said: This is something that Muslim did not agree with al-'Abbas on.
Ali ibn al-Madini: He was more like the companions of hadith than Hisham ibn Yusuf, and 'Abd al-Razzaq used to discuss hadith.
Muhammad ibn Isma'il al-Bukhari: What he narrated from his book is more authentic.
Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Dhuhali: He awakened them in hadith, and he memorizes.
Authors of Tahrir Taqrib al-Tahdhib: Trustworthy Haafiz, his Shi'ism has not been proven, and we have not found any narration from him among the Shi'ites. If he were a Shi'ite, they would have narrated from him.
Ma'mar ibn Rashid: If he lives, the livers of camels should be directed to him.
Hisham ibn Yusuf al-San'ani: The most knowledgeable and best memorizer among us.
Yahya ibn Ma'in: He confirmed in the hadith of Ma'mar from Hisham ibn Yusuf. Once he said: If 'Abd al-Razzaq had become an apostate, we would not have abandoned his hadith. It was said to him that 'Ubayd Allah ibn Musa rejected the hadith of 'Abd al-Razzaq because of his Shi'ism, so he said: By Allah, besides Whom there is no deity, 'Abd al-Razzaq is a hundred times higher than him in that regard. And once he said: Weak in Sulayman.
