Abu Hatim al-Razi: Trustworthy Imam
Abu Hatim ibn Habban al-Busti: He had qualities that were not combined in anyone of the people of knowledge in his time in the whole earth. He was a jurist, pious, knowledgeable of the different opinions, a حافظ (memorizer), knows the Sunnah, a traveler in seeking knowledge. He said: One of the Imams in jurisprudence, piety, knowledge, virtue, courage, and chivalry among those who traveled, collected, wrote, narrated, memorized, debated, adhered to hidden piety, and firmness in religion.
Abu Zur'ah al-Razi: He combined jurisprudence, generosity, courage, raiding and other things
Abu 'Abd Allah al-Hakim al-Naysaburi: The Imam of his time in the world and the foremost in knowledge, asceticism, courage, and generosity. He mentioned him in al-Mustadrak and said: A trustworthy memorizer
Abu Ya'la al-Khalili: The unanimously agreed upon Imam
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: One of the narrators of knowledge and its people. No one had fewer mistakes than him, a man who possesses Hadith, a memorizer.
