Abu al-Qasim al-Baghawi: He saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and narrated from him. He has a Sahih narration.
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: The Prophet wiped his head and face on the day of the Conquest of Mecca.
Abu Ali ibn al-Sakan: It is said that he has a narration.
Ibn Abi Hatim al-Razi: He saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he was young, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wiped his face.
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: There is a difference of opinion regarding his Companionship. He saw the Prophet but it is not confirmed that he heard from him.
Al-Dhahabi: He was a Companion.
Muhammad ibn Isma'il al-Bukhari: He was born before the Hijrah, and it is said that he was born after it. His narration from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is mursal (without a connected chain).
Yahya ibn Ma'in: Trustworthy.
Ya'qub ibn Sufyan al-Faswi: It is said that he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
