Abu Hatim bin Hibban al-Busti: He is counted among the people of Uqbah bin Abi Muayt. He became confused in the year 118 and remained so until he died. His confusion was not severe to the point that he did not know what he was saying. He also became blind. Perhaps there is a difference of opinion on this.
Ahmad bin Shu'ayb an-Nasa'i: There is nothing wrong with him before he changed. He lost his sight.

Ibn Abi Hatim ar-Razi: Trustworthy
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Trustworthy, but he changed towards the end of his life, although his confusion was not severe. It is also said: Al-Bukhari met him after he had changed and narrated one hadith from him.
Adh-Dhahabi: Trustworthy, حافظ (preserver/memorizer)
Al-Mizzi: He lost his sight in the year 216 and changed in the year 218.
Authors of Tahrir Taqrib at-Tahdhib: Unknown. Quraysh bin Hubban narrated uniquely from him, and no one considered him trustworthy.
Hilal bin al-'Ala' ar-Raqqi: He became blind in the year 216, changed in the year 218, and died in the year 220.
