Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: I do not know of anyone who narrated from him except his brother Musa ibn Ubaydah, and all of their Hadiths are weak.
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Basti: He is very rejected in Hadith, no one narrated from him except his brother, so I do not know from whom the affliction is, he narrates from Jabir and Aqabah ibn Amir, and his brother Musa ibn Ubaydah narrated from him.
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: Do not occupy yourself with him or his brother.
Ahmad ibn Shuayb al-Nasa'i: There is no problem with him.
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Thiqah (trustworthy), and once: There is some criticism of him, and the responsibility lies with his brother Musa.
al-Daraqutni: Thiqah (trustworthy), and once: He said: Salih (righteous).
al-Dhahabi: Saduq (truthful), there is something about him.
Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahim al-Saqa: He authenticated him.
Authors of Tahrir Taqrib al-Tahdhib: Saduq (truthful), Hasan al-Hadith (Hadith is good) in the best of cases.
Yahya ibn Ma'in: His Hadith is weak, and once: He is nothing.
Yaqub ibn Shaibah al-Sadusi: Thiqah (trustworthy)
